This new CargoMAX ballast trailer in 6-axle configuration is in action for Irish customer Flynn Crane Hire Ltd.
The unit features a mix of different steering possibilities:
- The first axle is mechanically steered – so not friction-steered as usual for 6-axle trailers
- The second axle is rigid
- The remaining ones are hydraulically steered
The result? New maneuvering possibilities when transporting crane ballast and counterweights especially where space is tight and every milliimetre counts.
