The hydraulic force steered axles

The hydraulic steering concept is based on a Faymonville in-house development.

The system has been used reliably on thousands of low loaders for decades.

Two hydraulic cylinders per steering system in the gooseneck are activated by the rotational movement of the tractor unit.

This causes them to pump hydraulic oil to two other cylinders in the axle area.

The result is a so-called “2-circuit steering system”, which keeps the vehicle safely on track in all situations.

  • Proven and successful for decades
  • Dual steering rods for maximum stability
  • Can be effortlessly self-steered by remote control, without manually changing control valves
